Purpose

To log in to myProject, you must have an IEEE Web Account username and password. IEEE Web Accounts are available free of charge to anyone.

Procedure

  1. Go to: www.ieee.org

  2. On the right side of the screen under "What do you want to do?", click "Set up IEEE Web Account."

If you are a "NEW USER" (i.e., if you have never had an IEEE web account)

    - Click "Create an IEEE Web Account," click "Next," and follow on-screen instructions for creating an IEEE Web Account. As part of this process, you will receive your IEEE web account username and password.

If you are an "ALREADY REGISTERED USER" (i.e., if you ever had or currently have a web account, but need to update it, including updating your IEEE web account email address; or, if you wish to retrieve or change your IEEE web account username/password, or personal data)

    - Click "forgot username," "forgot password," or scroll down and click "change username or password," and follow the on-screen instructions.

    - You will ultimately be taken to the "IEEE Shop" screen.
    - Click "My Account" on the top border of the screen.
    - Click "personal profile"; update any fields as appropriate (use the "edit" button on the top of the screen to do so). It is essential that the "Email address" field is current -- an accurate IEEE Web Account email address is needed for many myProject activities.
    - Upon completing your changes, click "save" on the bottom of the screen.

All IEEE Web Account creation/updates will be reflected immediately in the system allowing you to log in to myProject without delay.

IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) Membership

Upon logging in to myProject, you will receive links to myProject products and services appropriate to your IEEE-SA membership status. Many activities, such as accessing a listing of open ballot groups, will require SA membership.
